As a company, one of our top priorities is ensuring alignment across the team. We value transparency in leadership, covering everything from key metrics and revenue to feedback, collaboration, and stakeholder needs. Despite our rapid growth, we prioritize keeping everyone focused on our mission and "north star"—the number of events on our platform—and making sure the entire team is clear on both our current position and future goals.
At Eventeny, everyone is an "owner," with the belief that the company could thrive even if the co-founders walked away. We value learning from mistakes and encourage employees to take risks, fostering a culture of ownership, initiative, and going above and beyond. We see ourselves as a sports team, where empowerment and collaboration allow everyone to feel like they have a stake in the company.
We've always prioritized ethics over profit, believing that short-term gains aren't worth compromising on values. When developing products, we focus on meeting customer needs while ensuring the wellbeing of our employees. Our long-term vision centers on sustainable growth, empowering both our team and events across the country.
Collaboration is key at Eventeny. From engineers and designers building product releases to marketing, customer support, and QA teams working together on testing and bug fixes, we support each other by working together and offering feedback, not taking on each other’s work.
We celebrate our team's wins in weekly meetings, syncs, and department deep-dives, highlighting the exciting work each team contributes. This not only keeps everyone informed about ongoing projects but also gives team members the opportunity to share their individual accomplishments with the company.
Our team's ownership mentality drives perseverance, as employees feel invested in the company's success and the importance of their work. Aligned around our "north star"—the number of events on our platform—we collaborate to continuously improve our product for users.

Our Story
Eventeny was started by two passionate founders, Aly Hussaini and Nausheen Punjani, who truly understand the ins and outs of event planning, and the stress that so often comes along with it.
It all began when Aly’s sister, an event planner, was going crazy trying to plan an event, and Aly began brainstorming solutions to help his sister out.
He and his wife and business partner, Nausheen, who was working in data and information technology at the time, decided to dedicate their time to creating a product that would help event organizers like Aly’s sister plan events with ease and flexibility, without the stress.
Milestones
- 2018: The beginning - Event planning is widely regarded as one of the most stressful jobs, and Aly and Nausheen aimed to create a product that would make the process effortless.

- 2021 - 2023: Product expansion - We grew fast, expanding our product with powerful new features, including integrated eSign contracts, new marketing tools, and a redesigned mobile app.

An All-in-One Solution
Our platform offers a fully integrated experience, connecting ticketing, vendor management, a growing product marketplace, and interactive maps into one seamless system. Information is retained year-over-year and event-over-event, allowing organizers to easily copy and build on past event success. The marketplace also allows small businesses to sell products directly within the event, adding value for both vendors and attendees.
